Synopsis
Eom Chul-woo, a former North Korean special forces agent, is assigned a top-secret mission following a coup d’état attempt in the North. When the Supreme Leader is injured in an attack, Eom flees to South Korea with him, seeking asylum to avoid a full-scale war.
In the South, he crosses paths with Kwak Chul-woo, a South Korean intelligence official. Despite political tension and mutual suspicion, the two men must work together to prevent a nuclear conflict ignited by rogue North Korean forces and power-hungry military elites.
As both nations stand on the brink of war, Steel Rain combines explosive action with a tense, intelligent political thriller, exploring themes of unity, betrayal, and peace in the shadow of potential annihilation.
