Synopsis
An ordinary woman living a quiet, unremarkable life with her husband sees everything change in one devastating night. After attending a wine party, she becomes the victim of a violent assault when her husband forgets to pick her up. Overwhelmed by fear of judgment—for drinking, for dressing up, for being misunderstood—she chooses silence.
Yet, to her surprise, her husband sees her pain. Instead of turning away, he reaches for her hand and says the words she least expected: “Let’s call the police and press charges.”
Together, they begin a difficult journey to seek justice and healing. Through heartbreak, stigma, and resilience, this is the story of a woman finding her voice—and of a husband who stands beside her as they fight for truth and the light at the end of despair.
